Need an excuse for a girly wine date?

It’s that most wonderful time of the year.

But shouldn’t EVERY DAY be the most wonderful time of the year? And shouldn’t we view life as the most wonderful present we get to open EVERY DAY? Especially if that present involves a cork and wine glass? And dark chocolate? And lady friends?

3 resilience tips to keep your spirits bright. Including why you should say THANK YOU as much as possible. And host a wine date with your gal pals - as soon as possible.

Coping with holiday stress

To cope with all the merry, merry stress, here are 3 holiday resilience tips my friend (and former Harvard lecturer) Jessica Glazer recommends. Because we can all use a little help in keeping holiday spirits bright when the cray-cray starts to wear us down.

1. Social connections

We thrive in community. Go on and get that girly wine date on the books! I promise it’ll bring a smile every time. (As long as you pick the right friend. And don’t totally go overboard with the booze #uber)

2. Bouncing forward

You live, you learn. Don’t discount how your experiences shape you. Glean the lessons, then get up off the floor and press on. Strike that power pose, ladies. And get ready for a new day of joy-full cheer.

3. Gratitude

Say thanks. Often. It’ll put you in a mindset to look for blessings, instead of all the potential stressors out there. And definitely model this for the kiddos. Tis the season for them to see thanks and giving in action.

Wishing you a love-filled holiday and the merriest of Christmases!
